How it works: Target return is calculated on expected deployed capital (excluding contingency). Contingency is a safety buffer - if unused, it's refunded to investors at build complete. If the project performs better than target, TBEX keeps the excess as margin. If it underperforms, investors (including TBEX) share the loss pro-rata.
